Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is the illegal transport of people from one country or area to another and forcing them to perform services against their will. Federal law prohibits labor trafficking, which includes the recruitment, harboring, transportation, or obtaining of persons by force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery. Every state in the United States has laws establishing criminal penalties for traffickers. Use this sample "Human Trafficking" policy as a template to develop a policy appropriate for your company.
