Family Military Leave
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2010 made several changes to the family military leave provisions of the FMLA. The 2010 NDAA law expands an employee's right to family military leave for an "exigency" associated with a family member's call to service. Leave benefits now include active duty servicemembers and members of the reserve forces. Use this "Family Military Leave" policy template to create a policy that fits the needs of your organization.
