Family and Medical Leave (for employers subject to FMLA)
The federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requires covered employers to provide unpaid family and medical leave to eligible employees. To comply with the FMLA's requirements, employers need to develop written policies regarding notice of employee's rights, medical certification, and to address special circumstances.
Use this template to develop a comprehensive family and medical leave policy in compliance with the FMLA that will help employees understand eligibility, leave allowances, and expectations.
