Electronic Communications

policy
Download

What do instant messaging, Skype, Zoom, email, and the fax have in common? They’re all forms of electronic communication that may be used to conduct business in your workplace. When we think of electronic communication, we may still generally think primarily of email; yet electronic communication can include any transfer of writing, data, sounds, images, signs, or intelligence sent via an electronic device. As technology changes the way we communicate outside the workplace, it will certainly also change the ways we conduct business and collaborate within the workplace. We need our policies to adapt, grow, and respond with these changing forms of communication. Use this Electronic Communication policy template to create a policy that fits the needs of your organization.
