Invitation to Self-Identify (Protected Veterans)
The regulations implementing the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended by the Jobs for Veterans Act of 2002, 38 U.S.C. 4212 (VEVRAA) require covered contractors to invite applicants to self-identify as a protected veteran in both the pre- and post-offer periods.
