OFCCP recovers less than $10M in FY2024

As of the date of this newsletter, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has apparently recovered only about $10 million from federal contractors for the fiscal year (FY) 2024. This would be one of the smallest recovery amounts the agency has had in the past 10 years. The number of audits the agency has completed in FY2024 is also expected to be at an all-time low as well. One reason may be that under Acting Director Michele Hodge, the OFCCP has been very focused on construction contractors.

OFCCP publishes new construction scheduling letter

On October 2, the OFCCP published its new construction scheduling letter and itemized listing. The revised scheduling letter contains significant new reporting requirements and will present challenges for construction contractors to respond within the 30 days they are required to provide the information.
