EEOC changes focus under Trump 2.0

In light of President Trump’s many Executive Orders (EOs), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Acting Chair Andrea Lucas has turned the focus of the agency to rooting out diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), rejecting gender identity discrimination, and attacking what she calls anti-American bias.

Rejecting gender identity discrimination

Shortly after the president issued EO 14168—titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government”—Acting Chair Lucas issued a press release outlining the EEOC’s response to the order.
