President Biden rescinds EO 13950 on diversity training

One of the first Executive Orders (EOs) President Joe Biden signed after his inauguration on January 20 was EO 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government (https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/01/25/2021-01753/advancing-racial-equity-and-support-for-underserved-communities-through-the-federal-government). In addition to rescinding the Trump administration's EO 13950, which sought to limit diversity training by federal contractors, the new EO outlines the Biden administration's comprehensive approach to advancing equity for all, including people of color and others who have been historically undeserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality.
