Increasing adoption of AI continues bringing change to the HR landscape

Everybody’s talking about artificial intelligence (AI)—how to use it, how to avoid its pitfalls, how to keep up with changing technology, and how to balance costs and benefits. The questions go on and on, but if HR professionals can be certain of one thing, it’s that the genie isn’t going back in the bottle.

The use of AI in HR has plenty of proponents eager to point out how the technology can relieve HR pros of the mundane and repetitive work that eats up time. People analytics firm Visier, which offers AI-powered products, published a report titled “Embracing the AI-Driven Workforce” that identifies trends for 2025.

Among the developments, the report lists four factors it touts as “huge opportunities” for HR:
