5th Circuit highlights importance of expansive safety programs in hazardous industries
On July 19, 2023, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, which serves as the high court for federal district courts throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, affirmed orders of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) that resulted in a $24,942 proposed penalty to TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc., for violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) regulations.
